Portucel Soporcel PM2, Portugal (FINE) vacuum system upgrade started-up smoothly. Final connections and commissioning of this turn-key project were done during a normal felt change shutdown, so no long shutdowns were needed.
One EP500-700-D1 Turbo Blower is serving the forming section, felt uhle boxes and PU roll #3. One Ecopump Turbo Blower replaced thee liquid ring pumps in this upgrade project.
