Leipa Schwedt PM4, vacuum system rebuild started up in August 2015. Schwedt PM4 is online coating and calendering LWC machine (1600 m/min) located in Germany near the Polish border. Original (2004) vacuum system was studied in 2014 and a very attractive ROI made the investment decision easy. One of the original multistage blowers were was replaced by Ecopump Turbo and the energy saving was approx. 900 kW.
