EP500 Turbo Blower has been started up with very low energy consumption at WEPA Müschede PM 8, Germany.

Besides energy consumption the mill’s primary goal was to shut down the cooling tower, which was handling the operational water for the water ring pumps.

Due to a new regulation in Germany, it is required to monitor and regularly audit the cleanliness and absence of (biologically) harmful contaminants in the cooling towers. This causes extensive amount of paperwork and auditing, and it may also result in higher costs by more demanding cleaning actions and chemical or biocide usage. Besides the energy saving, this project goal was reached from the day one after the start-up of the turbo blower.
