The Vacuum System Audit includes:
- A study and review of the vacuum levels
- A study of the vacuum pumps and/or blowers to identify problem areas
- A study of pressure and bleed losses to analyse energy consumption and to evaluate if the vacuum levels are too high
- A review of the dewatering elements (flat boxes, save-all pans, uhle boxes)
- A calculation of energy savings based on EP speed control technology. Recommendations and proposals based on the calculation included
- A proposal how the dewatering rate can be monitored and what savings/speed increase a possible doctoring upgrade can realize
- Designing of the new pipeline connection diagrams including engineering and drawings
- ROI calculation
We can also provide specifications of the new vacuum pumps if needed. This audit may also include dewatering analysis and reporting. After the audit and comprehensive discussions with the customer, we provide a complete written report summarizing necessary actions for production optimization.
